We’d like to introduce you to our family and fill in the gaps from where we started to how we got here.

My name is Jill, and since I was a young girl, I’ve had a deep passion for animals. Over the years, I’ve given pieces of my heart to hamsters, parrots, dogs, cats, and even a snake or 2! That passion led me to the pet grooming industry, where I found a family of like-minded people.

I graduated from Merryfield Academy of professional pet grooming in 1986 and have spent the years honing my craft, furthering my education with seminars and conferences, and although I didn’t know it then, meeting lots of breeds helped us make decisions about our future breeding program.

In 1992, I found my roots growing in North Carolina soil, where I opened my first grooming salon and briefly dabbled in an Australian shepherd breeding program. The timing wasn’t quite right, and our girls became family pets while my business grew.

In 2004, we put down permanent roots in Yadkin County, settled into 10 acres, focused on growing the grooming business, and even added boarding! Watching our business grow has been instrumental in also teaching us the important qualities that we want our foundation dogs to possess and how to raise our puppies the best way.

When you visit your puppy, you’ll enjoy the wind in the trees, the chirping birds, and even an errant cat or 2, all of which lend themselves to our raising well-balanced, mentally stable puppies.

And, since we brought it up, let’s chat about how we raise our puppies.

Each of our litters is welcomed into this world at the foot of our bed, where they are bathed in attention, love, and the sounds of our kids chattering and laughing from the first moments. We modeled our socializing around ENS and puppy culture and worked hard on preparing our babies for their future families. We expose our puppies to a minimum of 7 textures by 7 weeks. We begin litter box and house training. Your puppy will have a minimum of 2 comprehensive veterinary exams prior to going home and will be current on vaccines, dewormed, and microchipped.
